We’ve just posted the Catdaddy Pirates version of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “The Sky Is Crying”, featuring the mighty J. C. Rice on vocals. This is the first mix of our recently recorded material that received Universal band approval. So we’re kind of excited to see what you think of it. If you’d be so kind, we’d appreciate it if you could give the song a spin, and maybe even tell us what you think about our efforts.

There are more tunes coming. “The Sky Is Crying” represents a hard-fought battle in which we were determined to achieve semi-professional results from a home studio. We believe we’ve succeeded in that goal, and with this song have finally figured out how to do it. But you be the judge. In the end, it’s your opinion that matter most to us.

JC………Said it before and I’ll say it again. Stevie Ray has NOTHING on you. I didn’t really even like the Blues all that well until I heard this song. All I can say is, get ready for greatness, guys! You all simply ROCK!
